RESEARCH SKILLS & EXPERIMENTAL EXPOSURE

  • Preparation of heterostructures using ultra high vacuum (UHV) multichamber hybrid system consisting of evaporation, sputtering and organic molecular beam epitaxy (OMBE) thin film deposition techniques with /without reactive gas environment and facilitated with robot transfer technique in UHV condition.
  • Preparation of thin films and heterostructures using Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) technique
  • In hand experience on mask designing, photolithography technique
  • Worked on Ar + ion milling facility
  • Familiarity with Focused Ion Beam (FIB) technique for sample pattering
  • Structural characterization of thin films, multilayers and superlattices using X-ray diffraction technique
