  • Working on ReFeAsO superconductors, our specific plan is to deal with control charge carrier doping route, the chemical pressure in the unit cell and the most importantly the strongly correlated As3d & Fe2p orbital hybridization in superconducting block. A selective criteria to be applied is to change Fe with other 3d metal within similar unit cell structure and without disturbing the chemical pressure. Some of the elements to be worked at Fe site are Ni, Co, Ru, Cr and Zn.

    Development of Variable Temperature Insert (VTI) system with the existing magnet (7 Tesla) and cryostat. Development of an insert for measuring electron transport properties compatible with the existing 3T magnet and a cryostat.
